Stylist Overview
As a Stylist at Knitwell Group, you'll be an integral part of our team, working closely with customers to understand their needs and preferences. Your role will involve:

  • Communicating and collaborating with positive intent, building strong relationships with your colleagues and customers.
  • Supporting customer experiences throughout all touch points, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable shopping experience.
  • Supporting and executing floor-sets, maintaining visual brand standards and ensuring a consistent shopping environment.
  • Ensuring opening and closing checklist tasks are completed daily, maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail.
  • Supporting Asset Protection efforts to prevent shrink and ensure safety, upholding our company values at all times.
  • Reporting to work as scheduled, recording all time worked accurately using our time and attendance system, and remaining flexible to the needs of the business.
  • Performing all other duties as assigned by Store, District, or Regional Leaders.

Qualifications
We're looking for a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess:
  • Strong communication and customer service skills, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Specialty selling/retail experience preferred, with a strong understanding of fashion trends and industry best practices.
  • Technology proficiency, with the ability to operate our computerized register system and other software applications.
  • A flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, including evening, weekend, and holiday shifts.
  • The ability to read, write, and communicate in English, with other languages desirable.

Physical Demands
The physical demands of this role include:
  • Constantly moving throughout the store to assist customers, retrieve merchandise, complete floor sets, unpack and replenish stock, and complete other tasks, frequently involving prolonged pushing, pulling, bending, squatting, and reaching, and may involve tight or confined spaces.
  • Frequently operating the computerized register system.
  • Adjusting or moving objects (garment racks, mannequins, etc.) or merchandise weighing up to 25 pounds in all directions on a frequent basis, and may need to adjust or move objects or merchandise weighing as much as 50 pounds in all directions on occasion and with assistance as available.
  • Retrieving merchandise displayed or stored above shoulder level on a frequent basis, which may include climbing an 8-foot ladder, and may need to replace overhead lightbulbs, signs, etc. on an occasional basis using an 8-foot ladder.
  • Constantly interacting with and assisting coworkers and clients and other members of the public.
