Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist

TotalMed Allied is seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist for a travel assignment in Maryland.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team. As a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of medical imaging procedures, including fluoroscopy and angiography.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform interventional radiology procedures, including angioplasty and stent placement
  • Operate imaging equipment, such as fluoroscopy and angiography machines
  • Prepare patients for procedures, including positioning and draping
  • Monitor patients during procedures and respond to any complications
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans

Requirements:

  • Current certification as an Interventional Radiology Technologist
  • 2+ years of experience in interventional radiology
  • Strong knowledge of medical imaging principles and procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
