Job Title: Vendor Relations Manager

Job Summary:

The Vendor Relations Manager will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing relationships with our contract manufacturing partners. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the CPG industry, excellent negotiation skills, and a commitment to ensuring that our manufacturing partners deliver high-quality products on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key strategic vendors.
  • Regularly evaluate and monitor vendor performance against key metrics and KPIs.
  • Work to resolve vendor disputes and/or other vendor-related issues in a timely manner.
  • Lead negotiations for new contracts and renewals, ensuring terms align with company objectives and compliance standards.
  • Review and approve all contract modifications, ensuring that any changes are documented and communicated effectively.
  • Ensure all contracts are compliant with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and audits to ensure contract manufacturers meet or exceed agreed standards.
  • Work closely with the Supply Chain team to align manufacturing schedules with company production and distribution plans.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on vendor performance, contract status, and any issues or risks to senior management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement and vendor management, with a proven track record of success.
  • Proven experience in negotiating and managing contracts with contract manufacturers.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control, and supply chain management.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.

Physical Demands/Work Environment:

  • Must be able to sit/stand for 8 hours.
  • Walking, bending, light lifting up to 50 lbs.
