MDS Nurse – RN – Registered Nurse
St. Patrick's Residence, a faith-based, nonprofit, short-term rehabilitation and skilled geriatric care facility, is seeking an experienced MDS Nurse – RN – Registered Nurse to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of Medicare, Medicaid, and Managed Care Programs under the direction of the MDS Coordinator.
- Direct financial reporting staff and ensure accurate and complete resident assessments.
- Participate in the development and implementation of plans of action with the QAA committee.
- Assist in developing the Reimbursement Department Budget with the MDS Coordinator and Administrator.
- Monitor Point Click Care 'Care Management' areas and ABILITY programs dashboards for accuracy and completeness.
- Review CASPER Reports for accuracy and investigate discrepancies.
- Ensure baseline plans of care are developed within 48 hours of admission.
Requirements:
- IL RN - Registered Nurse License.
- AANAC certification or ability to obtain within 6 months.
- Minimum 1 year's experience in nursing supervision or management in Long-Term Care.
- Knowledge of PDPM and OBRA required.
- 3 years' experience as an MDS nurse preferred.
