Key Responsibilities- Perform nutritional assessments, evaluations, and planning to ensure optimal patient care
- Develop and implement individualized meal plans, taking into account patient medical history, dietary needs, and cultural preferences
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate nutritional care and ensure seamless patient transitions
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and outcomes
- Provide education and counseling to patients and families on healthy eating habits and nutrition-related topics
- Bachelor's degree in Food and Nutrition or related field
- Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) certification
- State of Texas licensure or ability to obtain within 4 months of hire
