Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Treasury Manager to join our team at Confie. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and monitoring daily treasury operations and cash activity, including managing cash position and short-term liquidity forecast, banking relationships, treasury system, treasury accounting, corporate credit card, and merchant credit card.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage cash forecast and provide timely reporting and recommendations to senior management for decision making
  • Review and/or prepare financial models associated with cash flow and working capital
  • Monitor cash balances across business units to ensure daily operations and investments are covered
  • Devise and implement foreign exchange strategy and modeling to mitigate risk exposure
  • Prepare monthly treasury-related journal entries (interest accruals, bank fee, check deposit journal entries)
  • Assist in cash desk operations (initiate ACH and wire transfers, stop payments, and check deposits)
  • Administer treasury management system (Kyriba) and online banking platforms
  • Provide Kyriba support and training to the business units
  • Participate in closing and reporting activities and assist in year-end audit
  • Assist with due diligence activities and post-closing integration related to M&A
  • Maintain bank accounts signatory and legal records
  • Develop, implement, and maintain policies and procedures to ensure strong internal control
  • Define/review business requirements to capture the business unit's needs related to the treasury management system and guide the new change initiatives
  • Lead testing, training, and become subject matter expert, update procedures, perform post-implementation validations, redesign business controls to mitigate risk, and ensure strategic objectives are met
  • Provide effective communication with internal and external business partners, and colleagues
  • Ability to lead meetings and provide guidance and direction on potential solutions
Requirements
  • Through knowledge and understanding of Cash and Foreign Exchange Management concepts and services provided by Banks and non-financial partners
  • Staying current on market and industry trends and new products and services affecting cash management, foreign exchange, and corporate treasury policies
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and project management skills; attention to detail with proven analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to solve complex problems independently when developing solutions
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to juggle multiple activities within tight timelines
  • Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and facilitation skills. Ability to identify and resolve conflicts and influence others
  • Ability to accept feedback and make changes as needed
  • Passion for driving changes
  • Have a minimum of 5+ years of cash management experience
  • 5+ years of progressive business analyst and/or project management experience in leading supporting system implementation initiatives within cash management or treasury services
  • 5+ years of foreign exchange management experience
  • Insurance industry experience
  • Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent work experience
  • Deep understanding of technology and data along with stakeholder management skills and ability to create consensus
  • Experience managing process improvement and/or technology development projects
  • Experience implementing/managing Kyriba or other treasury workstations
  • Experience managing multiple bank relationships and complex bank account structure
  • Ability to utilize technical knowledge of cash management and banking principles, services, and systems to assist leadership in making decisions and assessing impacts
  • Ability to think, exercise judgment, set priorities, deliver business values, and timely escalate issues
  • Ability to develop and maintain positive business relationships with internal and external partners
  • Strong customer service and problem resolution skills as they relate to the delivery of cash management and banking service in tight timeframes
  • Robust technical skills in MS Office
  • Sound understanding of control/risk principles as they relate to banking and treasury function
  • Strong verbal and written skills - lead meetings, present facts, and minutes, influence stakeholders, create impactful presentations, effectively use visual tools, explain complex concepts in a simple and understandable way
