Position Summary:
GovCIO is seeking a Land Mobile Radio Project Coordinator to provide specialized knowledge in the management of system modernization projects related to microwave transmission systems, antenna systems, land mobile radio systems, and outdoor mass notification systems.
The role involves analyzing the deployment and operational aspects of these systems within the CENTCOM Area of Responsibility (AOR).
Responsibilities include assisting in the oversight and management of AFCENT Enterprise programs that support various communication technologies, including Air Force Trunked Land Mobile Radio, conventional Land Mobile Radio, and microwave line-of-sight systems, as well as future Air Force technologies integrated into CENTCOM's AOR.
The coordinator will also facilitate team management across different organizational levels, addressing conflicts, communicating processes and procedures, and enhancing comprehension of radio communication systems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience (or equivalent experience)
- PMP or equivalent certification may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
Experience Requirements:
- At least eight years of experience with the technical and analytical dimensions related to the management, configuration, and operation of fixed and mobile VHF/UHF communications equipment.
Desired Skills and Clearance:
- Top Secret clearance is required.
