Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Telecommunications Construction Planner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and correcting as-built designs of complex outside plant fiber networking for Multi-Dwelling Unit construction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and correct as-built designs of complex outside plant fiber networking for Multi-Dwelling Unit construction
  • Identify and troubleshoot issues with installation tools and equipment
  • Perform mechanical and electrical assembly tasks
  • Install and remove non-powered or passive equipment and hardware
  • Conduct cable continuity testing and basic DC power installation
  • Provide work assignments to junior technicians and lead by example
  • Prepare and implement Method of Procedure (MOP) documents
  • Resolve issues with job documentation and reporting
  • Perform signal or circuit modifications, software additions or upgrades, and equipment testing and turn-up
  • Develop and maintain engineering and design capabilities

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in telecommunications construction or a related field
  • Self-motivated problem solver with the ability to balance multiple projects and priorities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in telecommunications or a related field preferred

Work Schedule

Monday through Friday, 7 am-3 pm, with overtime and evening shifts as required
