Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Planning Analyst to join our team at AM Pierce and Associates. This role involves providing consulting and financial/accounting support to BSO-11 Business Offices.

The estimated salary range for this position is $90,000 - $115,000 annually, based upon an individual's level of experience, skillset, and education.

The selected candidate will work with clients to examine/develop processes to support the accounting department, including new processes of Navy ERP. Key responsibilities include participating in working groups related to G-Invoicing, Budget Execution Valuation, DARQ, and Tie-Points, updating and maintaining standard operating procedures and policies, performing data analysis related to funding, month end close, year-end close, compiling and reviewing field level journal vouchers, reviewing and reconciling monthly treasury reports when compared to the general ledger, understanding the behavior and functionality of various general ledger accounts, reviewing and analyzing trial balances for pre-close and post-close analysis, and reviewing and researching unmatched transactions.

To be successful in this role, you should have active DoD Secret Clearance, a Bachelor's degree with three (3) years of experience, or an Associate's degree with eight (8) years of experience. Additionally, you should possess accounting, audit, and/or Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) experience, Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (N-ERP) experience, intermediate to advanced Excel skills, basic accounting skills preferably with a government accounting background, self-driven efficiency, attention to detail, analytical skills, and good communication skills.
