Job Summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU). As a Staff Nurse in this dynamic environment, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in the CVICU, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans that address the unique needs of each patient.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest evidence-based practices and technologies in CVICU care.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment by promoting open communication, respect, and teamwork among colleagues.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved school of nursing with current registration in Massachusetts.
  • Current Cardiac Surgery ICU, VAD, Heart Transplant experience preferred.
  • Membership in professional organizations is recommended and certification in a specialty area is encouraged.
