Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team at Labcorp in Pittsburg, Kansas. As a Phlebotomist, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the accuracy of laboratory results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect blood samples from patients of all ages using venipuncture and capillary techniques
  • Process and prepare specimens for testing and analysis
  • Enter patient information into our database with accuracy and efficiency
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients and colleagues
  • Perform administrative tasks as needed, including data entry and billing

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency preferred
  • Previous experience as a phlebotomist or in a related field is an asset
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
