We are seeking a Certified Medication Aide to join our team at the State of Oklahoma. As a Certified Medication Aide, you will provide direct and indirect non-professional nursing care or outreach services in a clinic, hospital, institution, or home setting under nursing or medical supervision.
Key Responsibilities- Perform direct nursing tasks including taking vital signs, assisting with activities of daily living and hygiene needs, and obtaining certain lab specimens.
- Charts observations and activities, reporting pertinent changes in the patient's condition.
- Perform delegated or other specialized functions as educationally prepared.
- Escorts patients to and from various destinations.
- Assists in maintaining and providing a clean, safe environment.
- Orders, receives and stores supplies and performs basic clerical functions.
- Participates in follow-up activities and tracking clients and performs other related tasks.
- Tracks and orders patient medications.
- Certified Medication Aide licensure.
- One year of experience in providing patient care.
This position is part of the State of Oklahoma's healthcare team and requires a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care. As a Certified Medication Aide, you will work in a fast-paced environment and be responsible for providing direct care to patients.
