Job Overview

At BioIVT, we are seeking a highly skilled Inventory Control Specialist to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to take on a key role in managing our inventory operations.

About the Job

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing our inventory levels, ensuring accuracy of records, and coordinating with various departments to meet production and sales demands. If you have a passion for logistics and supply chain management, this could be the ideal role for you.

Responsibilities
  • Inventory Management: Establish and manage inventory control procedures and best practices to manage the receipt, storage, and distribution of inventory to meet day-to-day production and financial targets.
  • System Development: Develop and improve inventory systems, software, policies, and procedures to maintain consistent and accurate inventory and supply chains that meet quality standards and timelines for production and financial targets.
  • Data Analysis: Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions and adjustments, monitor inventory levels through routine checks, and analyze data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
  • Collaboration: Coordinate with procurement, production, sales, and management to forecast inventory needs and report on inventory status and issues. Accountable for maintaining appropriate inventory levels to achieve production and financial targets through regular collaboration with other departments.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree (B.S./B.A.) from four-year college or university; or high school graduate with four years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Skill Set: Proficiency in a variety of computer software programs including MS Office, inventory management software, and ERP systems. Strong knowledge of inventory management principles and practices.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, short-term/long-term disability, life insurance, hospital indemnity, and accident insurance. We also provide a generous retirement plan with a company match and competitive time-off policies.
