Job Summary

The University of Saint Francis is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to fill the role of Safety and Security Officer. As a key member of our campus community, this position is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of students, faculty, and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular patrols of campus buildings and grounds to identify and mitigate potential safety risks.
  • Respond to emergency situations and incidents, providing assistance and support as needed.
  • Enforce university policies and regulations, as well as federal, state, and local laws.
  • Provide excellent customer service and communication skills to interact with students, faculty, and staff.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a safe and secure campus environment.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum one year of experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field.
  • CPR, AED, and First Aid certification required within one year of employment.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, and Outlook.
  • Ability to use university ID, access, and CCTV systems.
  • Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations.
