Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Histology Technologist to join our team at Della Infotech in Coos Bay, OR. As a Histology Technologist, you will be responsible for preparing histologic slides from tissue sections for microscopic examination and diagnosis by pathologists.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare histologic slides from tissue sections using various techniques and procedures.
  • Operate office equipment and software programs applicable to the position.
  • Deal effectively with interdepartmental teams and the public.
  • Maintain confidentiality and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Attend assigned job locations regularly and maintain punctual attendance.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 5 years of experience as a Histology Technologist.
  • Well-rounded knowledge of histology techniques, procedures, and safety precautions.
  • Experience with Epic AP and grossing small biopsies.
  • Certification as a Histology Technologist (ASCP).
Work Schedule

No weekend or on-call requirements.
