Bristol Myers Squibb is a leading pharmaceutical company dedicated to transforming patients' lives through science. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Statistical Programming Intern to join our team.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will assist in providing statistical programming support for clinical studies, learn to program CDISC datasets (SDTM/ADaM), and report statistical study results with tables, listings, and figures. They will also perform quality control processes for datasets and tables, as well as support programming for data visualization and enhance existing data analysis tools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, review, and validate SAS programs to generate datasets, tables, figures, and listings.
  • Support review of datasets specification (SDTM/ADAM) following industry standards (CDISC) and related documents based on CRF, SAP, and TFL shells.
  • Understand company SOPs and relevant industry standards.
  • Support implementation of tools to facilitate data visualization (e.g., R, Python, etc.).
  • Support implementation of data exploration analysis (e.g., R, Python, etc.).
  • Prepare final presentations to the statistical programming group.
Qualifications & Experience

The ideal candidate will be a recent BSc graduate in Computer Science, Life Sciences, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field with a minimum of one year of graduate school completed. They should be knowledgeable of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and have good verbal communication skills. Knowledge of R/R-Shiny or Python is preferred, as well as knowledge of SAS language, procedures, and options for clinical trial data and reporting.

The internship program will run for 10-12 weeks, and the candidate will be expected to work up to 40 hours per week during normal business hours. They must not be employed at the time the internship starts.

What We Offer

Bristol Myers Squibb offers a competitive benefits package, including a starting compensation range of $29.00/hour - $35.00/hour, which takes into account the required skills and geographic location. The final individual compensation will be commensurate with demonstrated experience and education level.
