Job Overview

As a key member of our Infrastructure Operations and Maintenance Support team, you will be responsible for ensuring the availability, performance, and monitoring of our cloud infrastructure in a 24x7 environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the uptime of our multi-tenant infrastructure
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to improve platforms and eliminate complexity from architecture and processes
  • Configure and utilize state-of-the-art monitoring tools to gather insights and drive results
  • Conduct incident response and root cause analysis
  • Provide first-level system and network support, as well as problem resolution identification
  • Monitor daily software and network operations in a distributed environment
  • Work with users to isolate and resolve faults, as well as analyze and report on system performance
  • Participate in shift work to ensure complete 24x7 monitoring of software systems

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in Engineering or Computer Technology, or equivalent military training
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience
  • Experience working with Windows and Linux operating systems
  • Experience with distributed computing technologies
  • Experience with virtualization technologies, Docker Containers, Ansible, and Heat templates
  • Experience with front-end processing and network gateway appliances and/or software
  • Experience working in a customer environment and/or classified environment
  • Background in supporting software and/or network operations with a clear understanding of networking fundamentals
  • Experience with Linux/Unix and Windows operating systems
  • Current CompTIA Security+, CASP, or CISP certification
  • Ability to effectively communicate with customers and technical staff
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance, willing to undergo and pass a polygraph examination
  • Willingness to work in a 24x7 environment

Desired Qualifications:

  • Active Top Secret clearance, with sponsorship for SCI/CI Poly
  • Experience with infrastructure automation technologies, including OpenStack, Ansible, Heat, Puppet, etc.
  • Good understanding of KVM Virtualization technologies
  • Previous experience with networking equipment
  • Experience with Intelligence or DoD programs, either within the military or as a civilian contractor
