Carvana, a leading e-commerce platform for buying and selling used cars, is seeking a highly motivated and organized Dealer Relations Coordinator to join our team. Our company operates over 50 locations throughout the US, providing a wide range of vehicle services, including repair and reconditioning, auction remarketing, and distribution center operations.

Role and Team

The Dealer Relations Coordinator will play a critical role in supporting our sales team in servicing dealer relationships, developing new business, and retaining existing business. This position requires strong administrative and operational skills, as well as excellent communication and customer service abilities.

Responsibilities
  • Perform various administrative and operational duties, including determining pre-sale activities, scheduling transportation, numbering units, and entering announcements.
  • Maximize DealerBlock and LiveBlock listings by working with relative departments within the auction.
  • Audit online representation of vehicles, including photos, condition, damages, and announcements.
  • Perform sale day duties, including customer service, IF duties, block representation, post-sale reporting, and LiveBlock sale auditing and arbitration.
  • Be familiar with policies and procedures for handling customer complaints and disputes, and resolve them in a friendly and courteous manner.
  • Advise the designated manager of serious complaints or incidents.
  • Assist dealers with problems, discuss PSI results, and coordinate arbitration issues.
  • Effectively manage the dealer sales inventory as requested by the customer.
  • Perform operational duties as needed, including numbering vehicles, ensuring all vehicles are on spot for sale, making reconditioning recommendations, and verifying condition reports.
  • Reconcile online sold vehicles, verify purchases, and assist in preparing bill of sale and sale reports.
  • Follow up with customers to verify transaction information, including up-selling services, payment, and shipping information.
  • Properly use and navigate ADESA's CRM tool to log calls, run reports, and view dashboards.
  • Process online arbitration through Salesforce until the case is closed.
  • Responsible for impacting and achieving overall sales goals.
  • Practice and promote teamwork at all times, setting a good personal example of attitude and performance.
  • Ensure all Department area conditions do not threaten employee or customer safety.
  • Respond to and follow proper procedures on employee and customer accidents, injuries, and loss or damage to any property.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of customer service and administrative experience.
  • Previous auction experience or automotive background preferred.
  • Intermediate computer skills with basic knowledge in Microsoft Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Prior experience with sales and sales management tracking databases, such as Salesforce, with emphasis on accurate documentation.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must be qualified to operate a motor vehicle and possess a valid driver's license.
  • Must have a demonstrated ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
  • Must have the ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools.
