We are seeking a skilled Culinary Technician to join our team at Phoebe Ministries. As a Culinary Technician, you will be responsible for preparing and serving meals to our residents in a timely and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and serve meals to order for residents on assigned serving pantry per menu and hospitality quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment at all times.
- Follow all food safety regulatory guidelines for food storage and food handling.
- Transport prepared/prepped menu items from main kitchen to pantry serving kitchen at set times.
- Assist/support the hospitality service team as needed, to serve tables in dining room and provide resident hospitality experience to established expectations.
- Complete assigned prep work in main kitchen per job flow in coordination with Chef de Cuisine.
- Ability to deliver excellent customer service to all residents, families, and co-workers.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required.
- Two years of related experience in food production position or meal/menu service position/production kitchen experience.
- Must be serve-safe certified or become Serve-Safe certified within probationary hire period.
