At Chick-fil-A, the role of a Team Member transcends a mere job; it is a pathway to personal growth and development. Working under the guidance of an independent Operator, team members acquire invaluable life skills that extend beyond delivering exceptional products in a welcoming atmosphere. As a Back of the House - Grill Team Member, your primary responsibility will be to assist the Front of the House by swiftly and accurately preparing 'cold' menu items, ensuring that every guest departs with satisfaction.

We seek friendly and enthusiastic individuals who take pleasure in serving customers. Comprehensive training will be provided to equip you with the necessary skills.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Availability for full-time shifts
  • Adherence to food safety protocols
  • Preparation and cooking of all menu items in accordance with established guidelines
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the grill area at all times
  • Efficiently producing 'hot' menu items that meet Chick-fil-A's high standards
  • Staying informed about new product offerings
  • Dishwashing duties
  • Ensuring safety around hot equipment and reporting maintenance issues to the Food Safety Director
  • Enhancing personal knowledge through in-house training on food service
  • Demonstrating understanding of recipes and cooking requirements
  • Maintaining adequate supply stock
  • Cleaning and sanitizing various areas of the restaurant, including equipment, counters, floors, trash bins, and outdoor spaces
  • Performing additional tasks as assigned by restaurant management
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum age of 16 years at the time of hire
  • Eligibility to work in the United States
  • Access to reliable transportation
  • Ability to handle kitchen equipment, including navigating shelving at various heights
  • Basic reading, writing, math, and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, hot, and noisy environment
  • Mobility required throughout shifts
  • Capacity to perform well under pressure
  • Ability to respond promptly to changes or modifications in orders
