SAIC is seeking a skilled Launch Program Budget Analyst with a solid understanding of governmental operations.

The chosen candidate will create presentations and evaluations for diverse audiences, ensuring the ability to communicate budgetary data clearly and effectively to government officials.
This position supports strategic planning and encompasses all phases of launch and launch support activities.It requires navigating the complexities associated with various launch service providers while ensuring the appropriate handling of proprietary information, all within a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver program management, budgetary, and financial services, along with related products.
- Establish and maintain a requirements database categorized by appropriation for engineering initiatives.
- Create current fiscal year spending plans, including forecasts and execution strategies, while monitoring and reporting any discrepancies.
- Offer necessary support for planning, programming, budgeting, and financial oversight aligned with customer needs.
- Analyze and provide justifications for obligation and expenditure data as required.
- Review all financial data and CFSR for contracted projects.
- Conduct launch cost modeling, refine and maintain launch vehicle cost requirements databases, and perform studies on launch vehicle 'quick reaction' scenarios.
Essential Experience:
- A Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Experience working with government clients.
- At least 2 years of experience in government budgeting or a related field.
- Ideally, 2 or more years of experience in space launch operations.
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Required to hold TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
Additional Qualifications:
- Familiarity with the acquisition lifecycle requirements.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills are essential.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with the utmost discretion.
- Proficiency in desktop software, including spreadsheet, presentation, and database development tools.
Salary Range:
$80,001 - $120,000. This range reflects the typical salary for this role based on experience and other relevant factors.
SAIC is continuously accepting applications, and there is no specified deadline.
