Overview

As a skilled PACU Nurse at CHI St Vincent Hot Springs, you will play a vital role in the recovery process of patients undergoing surgical procedures. Your expertise will ensure a seamless transition from the operating room to the post-anesthesia care unit, where you will provide individualized care to patients in their most vulnerable moments. About Us:

CHI St Vincent Hot Springs is a 280-bed faith-based, non-profit hospital that has been serving the community for years. As the only level II trauma center in the southwest part of the state, we provide high-quality care to patients from all over Arkansas. Our hospital has received top patient safety ratings from Leapfrog and has been named one of the Nation's 50 Top Cardiovascular Hospitals in Fortune and PINC AI.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized care plans for surgical patients
  • Administer medications as directed by physicians
  • Provide education to patients and families on post-operative care and recovery
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions

Qualifications:

  • Unencumbered license to practice in the State of Arkansas
  • 6 months of acute care experience required (new graduates or nurses who have never worked in an acute care setting are hired through our residency training program)
  • Previous outpatient/pre-op experience is preferred but not required
  • BLS through the American Heart Association is required
