KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
As a Safety and Security Specialist, your essential functions will include:

  • Ensuring the safety and security of team members, guests, and property.
  • Managing financial transactions between gaming areas and the main cash handling location.
  • Addressing disruptive guests and handling confrontational situations effectively.
  • Documenting all incidents through required reports.
  • Operating the Dispatch Center as necessary.
  • Communicating effectively via two-way radio and telephone.
  • Directing foot and vehicle traffic during emergency situations.
  • Administering CPR and the Heimlich Maneuver when required.
  • Assisting emergency medical personnel as needed.
  • Patrolling the property and providing assistance to guests with vehicle issues.
  • Responding to alarms and coordinating with local law enforcement.
  • Securing the parking garage and employee lot.
  • Performing other job-related duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:
To excel in this role, candidates should possess:

  • A thorough understanding of and compliance with all company policies and procedures.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to foster effective relationships with colleagues and guests.
  • The ability to maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive information.
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and verbal communication in English.
  • Knowledge of safety hazards and precautions to ensure a secure work environment.
