Xcel Energy is seeking a Data Analyst Intern to join our Mass Market Product Management team. As a Data Analyst Intern, you will work with our data analytics team to perform data pulls, develop reports, and ensure data integrity to support and enhance our business.

You will gain experience with Salesforce, Tableau, Business Objects, Teradata, Postman, and other tools to analyze big data. Your responsibilities will include shadowing members of the team, developing reporting to support product operations, and supporting regulatory reporting and approvals.

This is an exciting opportunity to apply your data analytics skills in a real-world setting and contribute to the success of Xcel Energy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with the data analytics team to perform data pulls and develop reports
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy
  • Develop reporting to support product operations
  • Support regulatory reporting and approvals
Requirements
  • Current student in a Data Analytics or related field
  • Junior or Senior (as of Spring 2025)
  • Enrolled in an accredited college or university
  • Able to commute to Denver, CO or Minneapolis, MN
  • Able to work full-time during the summer (up to 40 hours a week) or part-time during the school year (up to 20 hours a week)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Additional experience with data analytics software
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
