Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including gathering and reporting data, carrying out orders, and performing therapeutic procedures in a safe and effective manner.
- Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Participate in ongoing quality improvement initiatives to ensure the highest standards of patient care.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements:
- Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse in the state where the hospital resides.
- Current BLS certification.
- One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in emergency or critical care environments.
- Comfort level working with vents/trachs/PICC lines, etc.
- Two years of experience in direct patient care.
