This position plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation of building automation systems. As a Building Automation Controls Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sequence testing, project graphics, and point-to-point verification to ensure system performance.
Key Responsibilities- Inspect and test systems to verify compliance with plans and specifications or to detect and locate malfunctions.
- Develop and implement project graphics to visualize system designs and layouts.
- Perform point-to-point verification to ensure system components are functioning correctly.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure proper installation of controls systems.
- Provide diagnostic and repair services to resolve system issues.
- Develop and deliver training to colleagues on system operation and maintenance.
- 3+ years of experience in mechanical/electrical engineering or a related field.
- Associates degree preferred.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, HVAC systems, and design concepts.
- Basic understanding of computers, electronics, and electrical circuits.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
