Atlas is a leading civil engineering and geotechnical consulting services firm, with over 3,500 employees across the US. We are seeking an experienced Senior Land Surveyor - Professional Team Lead to join our Redmond, WA team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead land surveying projects using LiDAR mapping, photography, drones, GPS, and conventional methods.
  • Oversee team members in adhering to internal standards and external regulatory requirements.
  • Office work involves field note reductions, traverse adjustments, topographic map preparation using MicroStation Inroads and AutoCAD Civil 3D, ALTA Surveys, Right-of-way maps, and Record of Surveys.
  • Post-processing, QA/QC, and deliverable generation using data collection from GPS TPS, 3D Laser Scanning, and Photogrammetric technologies.
  • Evaluating departmental equipment needs, coordinating maintenance and repairs, integrating innovative Survey, Mapping and Geomatics technologies.
  • Supervising team throughout project planning, coordination, and execution to ensure accurate measurements of land and property boundaries.

Requirements:

  • PLS Washington certification required.
  • At least 4 years of professional experience.
  • 2+ years of Project Management or Business Development experience preferred.

Tech Requirements:

  • PLS Washington certification required.
  • Civil 3D proficiency.
  • Microstation (Inroads/Openroads) skills.
  • Microsoft Office suite expertise.
  • Starnet and Leica office software knowledge.

Compensation: The estimated annual salary for this role is $125,000, based on qualifications and experience in Bellevue, WA.
