We are seeking a highly qualified Fashion Design Faculty member to join our team at InsideHigherEd. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in the Fashion Design program, as well as contributing to the development of the curriculum.
Key Responsibilities- Teaching and Mentoring: Teach Fashion Design courses to a diverse student population, utilizing a variety of instructional strategies and technologies to engage students and promote learning.
- Curriculum Development: Contribute to the development and revision of the Fashion Design curriculum, ensuring that it is relevant, effective, and aligned with industry standards.
- Assessment and Evaluation: Evaluate student progress and provide clear, timely feedback to students, using a variety of assessment methods to measure student learning outcomes.
- Service and Engagement: Participate in departmental and college-wide activities, including committee work, professional development, and community engagement.
- Education: Master's degree in Fashion Design, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field, or a Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field with significant industry experience.
- Experience: At least 3 years of experience in the fashion industry, with a strong background in teaching and mentoring.
- Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, and industry partners.
