About the Role
  • Oversee all stages of project life cycle, ensuring timely and budget-friendly delivery
  • Coordinate and supervise construction activities on the job site
  • Ensure compliance with design specifications and ACHA standards
  • Conduct regular site inspections and address any issues or delays promptly
  • Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution
  • Lead, train, and mentor junior staff, promoting a culture of teamwork and continuous learning
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and ensure their work is performed according to the project plan
  • Resolve any conflicts or disputes that may arise during the construction process
  • Prepare and submit regular progress reports to senior management
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Superintendent in the construction industry, with a focus on healthcare projects
  • Proven experience in managing ground-up construction projects
  • Proficiency in using construction management software
  • Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred
  • Certifications such as Certified Construction Manager (CCM) or Certified Professional Constructor (CPC) would be an asset
  • Willingness to travel as required
