This role requires strong technical expertise in HVAC systems, leadership abilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service to our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee HVAC installation projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
- Read and interpret blueprints, submittals, diagrams, and specifications to install HVAC systems according to design plans, taking into account space constraints and system requirements.
- Design and implement ductwork layouts that meet plan specifications and actual space requirements.
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC equipment and ductwork, adhering to safety standards and regulations.
- Supervise installation team members, providing guidance and technical expertise to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Train and mentor other installers to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Ensure compliance with all safety standards and regulations, maintaining a safe working environment for team members and clients.
- Test HVAC systems for proper functioning and perform quality assurance checks to guarantee client satisfaction.
- Communicate effectively with clients to explain installations and answer questions, providing excellent customer service.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used, tracking costs and ensuring efficient project management.
- Track and record the proper cost codes per items installed, ensuring accurate billing and financial reporting.
- Detail ductwork per plans, ensuring precise installation and meeting client expectations.
- Fabricate field offsets as needed, adapting to changing project requirements.
- Exercise foresight to anticipate and mitigate potential project risks and challenges.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an HVAC Installer or similar role, with at least 4-8 years in a lead capacity, demonstrating leadership skills and technical expertise.
- Certification from an accredited HVAC program or relevant trade school, preferred but not required.
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems, equipment, and installation techniques, with the ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams.
- Ability to lead a team and prioritize tasks effectively, ensuring successful project outcomes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with a high attention to detail and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Ability to train and mentor other installers, enhancing their skills and knowledge.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record, with the ability to work in various environments.
