About the Role

CoxHealth is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Inventory Assistant to join our team. As an Inventory Assistant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our inventory management processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inventory Control
    • Assist in maintaining accurate inventory levels and conducting regular cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
    • Process inventory transactions, including receiving, storing, and shipping inventory.
  • Ordering and Procurement
    • Assist in ordering and procuring inventory and supplies as needed.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of inventory.
  • Sanitation and Safety
    • Assist in maintaining a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all sanitation and safety protocols.
    • Participate in regular safety training and adhere to all safety procedures.
  • Communication and Teamwork
    • Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and vendors to ensure seamless inventory management.
    • Collaborate with the team to achieve inventory management goals and objectives.

Requirements

  • Education
    • High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
  • Experience
    • 2+ years of experience in food service, general cleaning, and sanitation preferred.
  • Skills
    • Basic reading, writing, and computer skills required.
    • Excellent communication and teamwork skills necessary.
    • Able to follow directions and work together as a team player.
    • Able to stand for long periods of time and move quickly.
    • Able to multitask and use a pallet jack lift.
