As a Mechanical Project Engineer, you will play a key role in empowering our clients to meet the challenges of a rapidly changing power industry through design and improvement of mechanical systems for all types of facilities and generation technologies.

Responsibilities
  • Develop innovative and unique engineering solutions to align with project, client, and project partner's needs.
  • Lead the discipline team in implementing solutions and ensuring compliance with industry standards and codes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, partners, and individuals at all levels within an organization.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve project delivery and client satisfaction.
Requirements
  • BSME, BSAE, BSChE, or other engineering discipline with applicable experience.
  • 15+ years of design experience in the consulting engineering industry for utility power plants, process/manufacturing facilities, industrial facilities, healthcare facilities, educational institutions, or governmental facilities.
  • Experience with communicating with clients, partners, and individuals at all levels within an organization.
  • Effective knowledge of mechanical systems, components, and commonly used design concepts, codes, practices, and procedures.
  • Experience with ASME B31 piping codes.
  • Professional Engineering License (PE) in one or more states.
  • Proficiency in computer operation for engineering design such as MS Excel, MS Word, and Bluebeam.
  • Strong spoken and written communications skills.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills.
  • Quick technical comprehension and motivation focused on client outcomes.
  • Able to effectively prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Effective working individually and within team environments.
