Key Responsibilities:
  • Make health center appointments, including financial and insurance eligibility screening.
  • Assist patients with verbal registration, including financial and insurance eligibility screening.
  • Enter patient information into the Electronic Practice Management system and Electronic Health Record system.
  • Protect patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA requirements.
  • Perform daily quality assurance activities.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 6 months experience working in a healthcare setting performing front office medical assistant duties.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
  • Bilingual Spanish/English highly preferred.
