The educational institution is in search of a qualified Mathematics Educator to deliver exceptional educational programs through effective instruction that addresses the unique needs of residents/students, in alignment with the standards established by the Commonwealth's regulations and program certification requirements.
The successful candidate will:

actively engage students in the learning process by employing diverse instructional strategies to accommodate individual learning styles, systematically collect, analyze, and utilize all pertinent data to assess student academic progress, and direct instructional content and delivery methods to provide timely feedback to both students and their families throughout the academic year.

Minimum Qualifications

Must possess or be eligible for a Virginia Teaching Certificate/License with an endorsement(s) in Mathematics. Comprehensive knowledge of content, curriculum, methodologies, materials, and equipment necessary to effectively perform the duties of the position. Ability to supervise students and youth, facilitate appropriate classroom management, and maintain accurate records. A bachelor's degree in mathematics is required.

Additional Considerations

Experience as a mathematics educator in a secondary setting will be considered favorably. Experience working with at-risk youth is preferred. A graduate degree is advantageous. Familiarity with the policies and procedures of the Virginia Department of Human Resource Management is beneficial.
