Soliant Education is seeking a passionate and dedicated Middle School Mathematics Teacher to join our team in Chesterfield, SC. As a Math Teacher, you will have the opportunity to inspire a love for mathematics and develop critical problem-solving skills in middle school students. Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement engaging mathematics curriculum that aligns with state standards and educational objectives for middle school students.
  • Teach a range of math concepts and skills, including arithmetic, algebra, geometry, statistics, and problem-solving strategies.
  • Utilize hands-on activities, real-world applications, and technology to make math relevant and accessible to students.
  • Create a supportive and collaborative classroom environment where students feel encouraged to take risks, ask questions, and explore mathematical concepts.
  • Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs and abilities of students, providing personalized support and enrichment as needed.
  • Assess student understanding and progress through a variety of formative and summative assessments, providing timely feedback to guide instruction and support student growth.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics Education, Education with a concentration in Mathematics, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Valid teaching certification/license in Mathematics (or eligibility to obtain certification in South Carolina).
  • Demonstrated experience in teaching mathematics at the middle school level, with a strong foundation in math pedagogy and curriculum development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with and motivate young learners.
  • Passion for mathematics education and a commitment to helping students develop mathematical fluency and problem-solving abilities.
