Job Summary

This position is responsible for leading a team of engineers in the development and implementation of engineering projects and programs. The successful candidate will have a strong background in engineering and project management, with experience in leading multidisciplinary teams and managing budgets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of engineers in the development and implementation of engineering projects and programs.
  • Manage budgets and resources to ensure successful project completion.
  • Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members.
Requirements

To be considered for this position, applicants must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to FV-J, FG/GS 14. This experience must have equipped the candidate with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the duties of the position.

Applicants must also have a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as engineering or a related field. A master's degree or higher may be preferred.

Additional requirements include:

  • Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams.
  • Experience managing budgets and resources.
  • Experience developing and implementing project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Experience coordinating with stakeholders.
  • Experience providing technical guidance and support.
