Position Overview:
AWE is in search of a dynamic and entrepreneurial leader to take on the role of Head of Talent Acquisition Strategy. This position will report directly to the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) and is based in Bentonville, AR (Onsite).
Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate and implement a strategic talent acquisition framework that aligns with the organization’s growth ambitions.
- Engage with senior leadership to assess hiring requirements and proactively identify talent shortages.
- Adopt innovative recruitment methodologies to attract a diverse pool of candidates and enhance the organization’s employer brand.
- Lead and mentor a team of proficient recruiting professionals responsible for the full recruitment lifecycle.
- Oversee internal talent management, creating talent pipelines and maintaining an internal skills inventory.
- Devise and execute recruitment strategies that improve effectiveness, foster diversity, and strengthen organizational capabilities.
- Utilize the Workday system to manage recruitment processes efficiently, providing necessary support and training to users.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline recruitment processes and enhance overall efficiency.
- Handle high-level recruitment needs, including executive and specialized roles, ensuring a smooth hiring process.
- Leverage data analytics to monitor key recruitment metrics and provide insights for informed decision-making.
- Manage relationships with external vendors and third-party partners, representing AWE effectively.
- Ensure adherence to all applicable employment laws and regulations throughout the recruitment process.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field is preferred.
- Over 8 years of experience in talent acquisition or recruitment, with at least 4 years in a leadership capacity.
- Demonstrated success in crafting and executing effective talent acquisition strategies in a dynamic, high-growth setting.
- Exceptional leadership abilities with a talent for inspiring and motivating teams to achieve objectives.
- Strong business acumen, including contract negotiation, budget oversight, and data analysis skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for engaging with candidates and collaborating with stakeholders.
- Outstanding organizational skills to manage multiple recruitment processes simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS), with a preference for Workday experience.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office, Zoom, and LinkedIn Recruiter.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment, demonstrating adaptability and resilience.

Work Environment:
The role requires prolonged use of a computer and telephone, effective verbal and written communication, and the ability to lift/carry up to 10 lbs.
