Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Public Health Lecturer to join our faculty team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and graduate-level courses in Public Health, as well as participating in ongoing assessment of student learning and contributing to the development of public health curriculum.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach courses in Public Health, including undergraduate and graduate-level courses
  • Participate in ongoing assessment of student learning and contribute to the development of public health curriculum
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the quality, rigor, and relevance of our curricula
  • Attend team meetings and training sessions as required
  • Establish and maintain a high-quality learning environment that is inclusive, student-centered, and contemporarily relevant
  • Utilize the Canvas Learning Management System to ensure faculty-student connection in a common space
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Public Health or a closely related field
  • Minimum two years' professional experience in Public Health or a closely related field
  • Commitment to teaching excellence in Public Health-related subject areas
  • Demonstrated awareness of and sensitivity to educational goals of diverse student populations
Preferred Qualifications
  • Evidence of teaching effectiveness in health-related subject areas at university or college levels
  • Leadership or supervisory professional experience in Public Health or a closely related field
  • Ability to effectively design, teach, and assess undergraduate and graduate courses in-person, online, and in hybrid formats
