Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced faculty member to join our Public Health department as a lecturer. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and graduate-level courses in public health, as well as participating in ongoing assessment of student learning and contributing to the development of public health curriculum.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach courses in public health, including epidemiology, biostatistics, and health education
  • Participate in ongoing assessment of student learning and contribute to the development of public health curriculum
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the quality and rigor of public health programs
  • Attend team meetings and training sessions as required
  • Establish and maintain a high-quality learning environment that is inclusive and student-centered
Requirements
  • Master's degree in public health or a closely related field
  • Minimum two years' professional experience in public health or a closely related field
  • Commitment to teaching excellence and student-centered learning
  • Demonstrated awareness of and sensitivity to the educational goals of diverse student populations
Preferred Qualifications
  • Evidence of teaching effectiveness in health-related subject areas
  • Leadership or supervisory experience in public health or a closely related field
  • Ability to design, teach, and assess undergraduate and graduate courses in-person, online, and in hybrid formats
