Job Summary

The Janitorial Assistant will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the showroom and warehouse facilities. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can perform general cleaning duties, replenish supplies, and perform minor repairs as needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform daily cleaning of all areas, including the showroom and warehouse, to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Replenish maintenance supplies in the stock room to ensure a smooth operation.
  • Perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks as needed to prevent equipment downtime.
  • Empty trash and recyclables from both the office and warehouse locations.
  • Operate cleaning equipment, such as sweepers and mops, to maintain a clean and organized environment.
  • Assist in the maintenance of the building's floors, walls, and other surfaces.

Requirements

  • High School Education or equivalent preferred.
  • Two (2) plus years of experience in a warehouse environment or related field.
  • 1-2 years of janitorial experience.
  • Forklift experience preferred.
  • Experience driving a sweeper preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
  • Knowledge of using a computer or tablet is a plus.
