We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced On-Site Safety Officer to ensure the safety of all personnel and compliance with relevant safety regulations on-site.
Key Responsibilities:- Monitor and enforce all safety standards and regulations at the job site.
- Conduct daily safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure corrective actions are taken.
- Lead safety meetings, training sessions, and toolbox talks for all site personnel.
- Investigate and document any accidents, incidents, or near-misses on-site, ensuring proper reporting and follow-up.
- Assist in the development and implementation of site-specific safety plans and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, local, state, and federal safety requirements.
- Maintain up-to-date safety documentation, records, and permits.
- Collaborate with project managers, supervisors, and contractors to improve overall site safety.
- Support emergency preparedness and response efforts.
- Continuously identify areas for safety improvement and recommend solutions.
- OSHA 30 Certification is required.
- Minimum of [X] years of experience in safety management in a construction, manufacturing, or industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to train and lead teams.
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Experience with incident investigation and report writing.
- First Aid/CPR certification is a plus.
- Proficiency in MS Office and safety management software is preferred.
- On-site position requiring regular physical presence at the job site.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and move around for extended periods.
- Exposure to construction or industrial environments, which may involve loud noise, dust, and other hazardous conditions.
- Personal protective equipment (PPE) will be required on-site.
