We are currently seeking an Automatic Door Repair and Installation Specialist to join our team. This role involves the repair, maintenance, and installation of various door systems in commercial settings, including healthcare facilities, retail spaces, and more. Ideal candidates will have experience in residential or commercial door systems, garage doors, construction, military service, electrical work, fabrication, access control, glazing, carpentry, mechanical trades, or any other skilled professions. We provide comprehensive training, tools, equipment, and vehicles necessary for success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Become a Piedmont Door Technician: Master the installation, repair, and maintenance of doors, turnstiles, revolving doors, and other security and entrance products.
  • Show Initiative: Actively engage in projects, demonstrating independence in a fast-paced, low-supervision environment to ensure project success.
  • Learn and Adapt: Take advantage of training opportunities to enhance your skills and show a commitment to personal growth.
  • Maintain a Professional Worksite: Keep your work area clean, organized, and professional, focusing on detail and problem-solving for our customers.
  • Collaborate with Office Staff: Manage the ordering and tracking of parts, materials, and service time.

Qualifications:

  • License: Must hold a valid, unrestricted driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Education: High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Experience: Familiarity with power tools and hand tools, with a preference for backgrounds in carpentry, electrical work, military service, HVAC, or similar fields.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, bend, and climb for extended periods in non-climate-controlled environments; capable of lifting over 75 pounds and working at heights.
  • Testing: Successful completion of a background check and drug screening is mandatory. Vaccinations for COVID-19, flu, and others may be required.
