Job Title: Training Designer I

STERIS is seeking a highly skilled Training Designer I to join our team. As a key member of our Service Training Department, you will be responsible for designing and developing performance-based training programs using multiple modalities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop training projects using Instructional System Design (ISD) methodologies.
  • Utilize e-Learning tools and software to create interactive and engaging instructional materials.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify job tasks and knowledge/performance gaps.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of learning programs and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design best practices.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in multi-media authoring/production and training program development.
  • Knowledge of ISD methodologies and e-Learning tools.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with video shoots, editing, and post-production.
  • Working knowledge of multi-media interactive authoring software.
  • Experience with utilizing 3D models and CAD drawings into Learning Solutions.
