We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Rehabilitation team at Research Medical Center. As a Cardiac Rehabilitation Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive care to patients with cardiovascular conditions.
Responsibilities- Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans to optimize patient outcomes.
- Provide direct nursing care and supervise non-licensed nursing staff within the RN's scope of practice.
- Collaborate with Exercise Physiologists, Physicians, and Allied Health Technicians to ensure seamless patient care.
- Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families, incorporating patient-centered care principles.
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing with a BSN or equivalent.
- Dysrhythmia recognition, pathophysiology of cardiovascular disease, and basic knowledge of exercise physiology.
- Current licensure as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice.
- ACSM certification at the Exercise Specialist level, Registered Clinical Exercise Physiologist, or ANA Cardiac Rehabilitation certification preferred.
