Position Overview:

This role focuses on the analysis of climate change narratives across various digital platforms, particularly social media, to combat misinformation and promote accurate discourse.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive research on climate change communication and disinformation.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including computer scientists and social scientists, to develop methodologies for data collection and analysis.
- Utilize advanced research techniques such as social network analysis, statistical modeling, and machine learning, including Natural Language Processing and image recognition.
- Engage in public outreach and dissemination of research findings through academic publications and presentations.

Qualifications:
- A PhD or equivalent in relevant fields such as computational social science, applied data science, or computer science.
- Proven experience in research methodologies related to social media analysis and climate communication is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills are essential for effective collaboration within a diverse research environment.
