Job Summary

Affinity Management Services is seeking a highly skilled Community Association Manager to join our team. As a Community Association Manager, you will play a pivotal role in fostering thriving and well-managed communities. Your responsibilities will include cultivating positive relationships with association boards, addressing unit owner's needs, managing vendors, and overseeing the association's finances.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and maintain healthy and positive relationships with the board of directors of the association.
  • Assist unit owners with their service requests, reviewing, analyzing, and resolving requests submitted by unit owners.
  • Foster relationships with association vendors to ensure cooperation, managing and supervising the quality of work while the vendor is providing their services to the association.
  • Manage the association's finances, understanding the association's financial statements and providing the board with necessary guidance to make sound decisions.
  • Prepare the association's annual budget, analyzing the association's expenses item by item and suggesting adequate funding amounts to meet financial responsibility.
  • Provide administrative support, preparing necessary documentation to support association meetings.
  • Receive and process important correspondence.
  • Prepare a management plan and utilize it as guidance and to set the right expectations with the board.
  • Prepare RFPs for job requests and analyze bids to ensure an accurate comparison and presentation of project specifications.
  • Respond to and act on association emergencies.
  • Manage major improvement projects, preparing RFPs, coordinating meetings, overseeing vendor interactions.
  • Communicate with board, unit owners, vendors, and government agencies in a clear, thoughtful, and consistent manner.
Requirements:
  • Bilingual (English, Spanish) preferred.
  • Active CAM License.
  • Minimum 5 years of management experience.
  • Experience with High-Rise Condominiums and HOA Management.
  • General Computer Skills.
