About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Neonatal APP Manager to join our team at Nationwide Children's Hospital. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care, and maintaining clinical competency as an APP.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with departmental teams to develop and implement standards to meet departmental goals.
  • Contribute to and monitor expense and capital budgets, ensuring resources are allocated effectively.
  • Oversee quality improvement and safety initiatives, coordinating staff representation on departmental and hospital committees.
  • Ensure the orientation of department staff to role functions, policies, and information systems.
  • Assist and direct staff in identifying learning needs and coordinating networking and continuing education opportunities.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Nursing or PA studies, required. Doctoral degree in Nursing or PA studies, preferred.
  • Nationally certified and licensed in Ohio as an APRN or Physician Assistant, required.
  • 4 years of previous APP leadership experience in a complex setting, required.
  • Experience in a magnet certified academic medical center with demonstrated program development and teaching skills, preferred.
