About the Role

As a key member of the Holcim team, the Plant Operations Manager will be responsible for ensuring the safe and timely delivery of bulk concrete to our customers. This role requires strong communication and leadership skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with site management and colleagues to achieve our goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the execution of general plant operations activities, including transportation and receiving of product at the plant.
  • Ensure that we produce high-quality products that meet or exceed customer expectations by inspecting product quality and recommending measures to improve production methods and equipment performance.
  • Monitor, recommend, and implement repairs and routine maintenance of equipment, buildings, and grounds.
  • Directly supervise a team of employees in the Ready Mix Division, providing coaching, training, and mentoring to ensure safe and efficient operation of plant equipment.
  • Enforce safety procedures to ensure the safety of personnel working at the plant or delivering/receiving materials.
  • Manage all risks during the performance of duties and make recommendations concerning safety and operational improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5-7 years of related experience and/or training.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
