Job Summary

Onsite Women's Health is seeking a highly skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team on a per diem basis. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing screening and diagnostic mammograms, ensuring high-quality images, and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform mammography procedures, including screening and diagnostic exams
  • Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process and reducing anxieties
  • Operate mammographic equipment, adjusting controls to set exposure factors
  • Practice radiation protection techniques, using beam restrictive devices and patient shielding skills
  • Examine digital images for quality, ensuring compliance with MQSA and ACR requirements
  • Process routine paperwork and data entry, maintaining patient confidentiality
  • Participate in professional development activities, maintaining affiliations and certifications

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in mammography
  • ARRT certification
  • Up-to-date CME credits
  • Excellent patient communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
