Primrose Retirement Communities, LLC is seeking a dedicated Certified Medication Aide to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring that residents receive their prescribed medications in compliance with state laws and our organizational policies. The Medication Aide will also provide essential support to residents, which may encompass personal care, laundry services, housekeeping, social activities, meal assistance, and other tasks as required within the community.
In this position, the Medication Aide will work collaboratively with the nursing staff, other departments, healthcare professionals, and families to promote the overall well-being of each resident, helping them achieve or maintain optimal physical, mental, and emotional health.

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a long-term care or assisted living setting is preferred.
- Valid certification as a Medication Aide or Qualified Medication Administration Person in accordance with state regulations.
- Current CPR/First Aid certification as required by state law.
- Participation in in-service training and maintenance of continuing education hours as necessary for certification.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Familiarity with Alzheimer's Disease, other forms of dementia, and related cognitive impairments is advantageous.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Basic proficiency in computer applications and software.
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and holidays on a rotating schedule.
